My cat threw up yellow-green clumps but is fine. Should I worry?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 9 lbs

Hi! When I woke up this morning I noticed my cat threw up. It was yellow with green clumps. I’ve never seen this consistency before so I was kind of concerned. She seems perfectly fine now and is running around happy. Is there any reason for concern? Thanks

If she only vomited one time and seems perfectly fine then I don't think there is a cause for concern. If the vomiting continues, she has a decreased appetite, or is lethargic then she should be examined by a vet for treatment.
