Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Female | spayed | 4 years and 4 months old | 55 lbs
I have an Australian shepherd, she is 4 and about 55lb. She ate some paper towels with bacon grease on them. She went to the bathroom and i didn't see anything in it. She is still drinking and is still playful. What should I watch for and do you think she will be ok till morning to go to a vet?

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. You should monitor her for signs of vomiting, abdominal pain, lethargy, lack of appetite. As long as she is bright, has normal energy level, has good appetite and is passing normal stools, she should be fine. However, if you notice any of the worrying symptoms, you should get her checked by your local vets in the morning.
