Hi, took the little guy out for a walk and started running with him. He ran a bit longer than he usually does, which I think made him tired, and he stopped to smell a Bush. While smelling, his whole body including his teeth started shaking/chattering and he foamed at the mouth a bit. He shakes sometimes, I think it’s like a nervous tick - but I’ve never seen him chatter his teeth and foam at the mouth. We’re walking back home now and he seems fine, but wondering if we should get him checked out

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Watson. It may be that he overdid it on the exercise, became overheated, and that caused the foaming of the mouth. If he seems fine now, I'd keep an eye on him at the moment. Should any of these symptoms reappear, then I would take him into the vet. At home, put him in a cool dark room, and make sure he has plenty of cool water to drink. I hope this helps!
