Why is my kitten throwing up undigested food and having soft stool?

My 2 1/2 month kitten is throwing up undigested food. he still has appetite and has been drinking water. he's been playful although not as playful as he usually is. he's been pooping very soft stool, not diarrhea. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 16 days old | 4 lbs

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Miklo. Poor boy. He could have a severe stomach illness causing his vomiting and soft stool. Whenever a kitten has both vomiting and soft stool, they are considered too sick for a home remedy. The best thing to do for him is to take him into a vet immediately to get this diagnosed and treated. I hope this helps!
