Parakeet green urine: Is it diet or a sign of liver disease? Vet?

I recently came into possession of a parakeet who was found a couple months ago in someone's yard. I've had her for a few days, and I noticed today that her wet urine is bright green, and the urates might be tinged yellow. I know that's a sign of liver disease, and I want to take her to a vet, but my parents are saying that maybe it's the change in diet that's causing it and we should wait. But I don't want to postpone until it's too late. Should we take her to a vet ASAP or wait? Pet's info: Bird | Parakeet | Female | unspayed

If Skyla is fine otherwise, not showing any other sign of disease, it is fine to wait. If the feces persist of the same colour more than a week from changing the diet a check up will be required at your local vets.
