Can I give my dog cefpodoxime & Galliprant together? With food?

Pet's info: Dog | Coton de Tulear | Female | spayed | 13 years and 4 months old | 9.8 lbs

Can I give Sofia (9-10Ib dog) cefpodoxime 1/4 of 100 mg & galliprant 1/2 of 20 mg. on the same day? Is galliprant be given on full or empty stomach?

These medications can certainly be given on the same day. No concerns for drug interactions here whatsoever. Please also continue to monitor for any signs of GI upset however from the medications themselves, which includes vomiting, diarrhea or decreased appetite and notify your vet immediately if seen. Only a small percentage of pets will have an adverse reaction to these medications. Both medications should be gien after a small meal.
