Will a larger litter size make my dog deliver puppies earlier?

My dogs last litter she had 3 pups and had them on day 60 this year she had a scan and is having 7 pups she’s a 2kg chihuahua and is currently on day 49 of her pregnancy do you think she’ll go earlier than day 60 this time? Do dogs have puppies earlier if the litter is bigger?

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I don't think it is possible to predict when she will go into labour. There are no rules for that, it does not matter how big the litter is. She well may go over 60 days this time. Good luck with her, hope she will go through the labour ok and have healthy, strong pupps.
