Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Male | neutered | 4 years and 1 month old | 8 lbs
Hi, my cat is on a urinary s/o and calm dry food diet. He is not very fond of the dry food, and he’ll only eat it if he’s really hungry. I also feed him regular wet food twice daily (he doesn’t like the urinary wet food either.) I worry that he doesn’t eat enough of it, and I found that the only way to get him to eat it is if I mix a small amount of regular dry cat food with a large amount of his vet food. Is this okay to do? Will the vet food have the same effect? Otherwise he won’t eat it.

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Chase. This is fine to do. It's only a small amount of regular dry cat food, and he's getting mostly vet food. If that's what you have to do to get him to eat it, do it. I hope this helps!
