My kitten in doing a runny nd bloody poop....what should I do

This bloody poop could be caused by intestinal worms, a sudden change in diet, giving Miniee a new food, or a severe illness. It can have some very serious causes, which is why it should be checked out by a vet promptly. I'd take her into a vet now. Best of luck.

    It sounds like Maize has diarrhea, and it's concerned there is blood in it. She could have a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, could have coccidia, Giardia, or a foreign body. I'd take her into a vet now to get checked out.

Blood in the stool is an indication to have her evaluated by a veterinarian. If this continues to be an issue in the next 24-48 hours, have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Hopefully she will improve on her own. Hi, my kitten Nala is about a month old. Recently she started throwing up. She was ok until today when she threw up twice and started to have diarrhea, I noticed a little blood when she was pooping too. What should I do?
I would recommend taking your kitten in to be evaluated by a veterinarian. Your kitten is most likely suffering from intestinal parasites, which can cause vomiting and diarrhea. The most common cause for this in a kitten that otherwise feels good is intestinal parasites. You can try an OTC dewormer from a petstore or take Litchi in to the vet for evaluation. Other possible causes could include a bacterial or viral infection (such as Panleukopenia), dietary intolerance, bleeding disorder, etc.

I have a 4 week old kitten he won’t let me help him poop and does it when he feels like it but his poop is mucus brown with blood in it
Blood in the stool and diarrhea could be caused by parasites, change in diet, toxin ingestion, infectious viral diseases, blockage in the intestines caused by ingestion of a foreign body, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. Please make an appointment to have Smoky seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible, as diarrhea and blood in the stool can lead to dehydration and anemia, and can be very dangerous if left untreated. I recommend taking in a fecal sample from Smoky to your vet as well, as that may aid them in making a diagnosis. Good luck, and I hope he feels better soon!

You can help her get through this by feeding bland food (i.e. boneless cooked chicken). Feed small portions (1 tablespoon or less) at meal time. You can also add probiotics to the food (can get this at the pet store), which has demonstrated some efficacy for improving diarrhea. Ensure fresh, clean water is always available. Blood in diarrhea is always concerning, so she should definitely go to the vet as soon as possible. I hope this helps and Simba gets better soon.

My kitten is having blood in his stools and he looks inflamed. Is he ok, what should i do?
It looks like Ollie might be having a partial rectal prolapse, which can happen with diarrhea from things like parasites or from constipation. The blood might be related to diarrhea or if it's a small amount it could be from the rectum and from irritation. I would recommend seeing a veterinarian right away given his age - if it is a small prolapse it could get worse quickly and require surgical repair. The vet can hopefully determine the underlying cause and offer treatment.

There can be a lot of causes of diarrhea in kittens. Typically the most common cause is a parasitic infection but bacterial or a viral infection could also be possibilities. Rapid change of the food can also cause diarrhea. I would recommend Kitten see her veterinarian soon for an exam and fecal test to check for causes. He may need antibiotics, anti-parasitics, or other medications to help solve the diarrhea.

My kitten is around 2 months old. Its a persian one. I am feeding her cat food from M-EO bran, small sized biscuits, and also fed her chicken jelly from Whiskas, I stopped giving her chicken jelly because it seemed that she's unable to digest it. Now
It sounds as if Princess has a sensitive GI tract. I would recommend feeding her a food labeled for ‘sensitive stomachs’ or a low fat/low residue diet (usually these have to be purchased from a veterinarian). Some brands I prefer are Hills, Purina and Royal Canin, so I would start with one of those. I would also recommend you take a fecal sample from Princess in to your vet to be examined. Bloody diarrhea can be caused by several things, especially intestinal parasites. If the diarrhea persists for more than 5 days and/or if Princess starts vomiting or stops wanting to eat, you should take her to be examined by your vet to make sure nothing else is going on. Hi my cat is 3 weeks old and I’ve been noticing some blood in her stool and I changed her food before 2 times and I’ll change it again because I found out that it’s better quality for her. Do I need to take her to a vet or is it normal.
I would recommend a trip to the vet because blood in the stool is not normal. We can have a variety of reasons for it, including parasites, inflammatory bowel disease, food intolerance, and more. The safest course of action in a cat this young is to have her examined and bring a stool sample along with you if you have one that is recent (past 24 hours) for the vet to test.
