My cat is limping, growling, and favoring a paw. Should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 6 lbs

My 3 yr old cat came home from an all night out limping and growls when I pick him up. He is walking on 3 legs and favoring front left paw. No cuts, bites or blood visible. seems traumatized- what should I do?

Ideally, he should be physically examined by your veterinarian. He may have been bitten by another cat which would explain his symptoms. A cat bite can be difficult to detect and can abscess and be quite painful. Antibiotics and pain medication may be indicated.
