My chicken has a hard knot on her shoulder. Is it a broken bone?

Chicken has a hard knot sticking out of her shoulder area, just in front of her left wing and to the side of her neck. It feels hard like a bone. Could she have broken a bone. No break in the skin, no other symptoms. Eating, drinking, walking fine. She is 8 weeks old. Pet's info: Bird | Chicken | Female | unspayed | 3 lbs

Yes, it is possible for it be a broken/healed bone. Bird bones are hollow so when fractured, they actually heal very quickly so it may be from an earlier unnoticed injury. The only way to know for sure is to do an x-ray. If it is not bothering her I guess I would not be overly concerned at this stage.
