My dog has a red bump on her chest, doesn't bother her. Is it serious?

Hello my name is savanna, and I was just wondering if I could get an opinion on this small red firm bump my dog has on her chest. She is a 4 year old lab Shephard mix. The bump doesn't seem to bother her at all but as a dog mom I can't help but worry about her.

I don't think this is worrisome at this stage. It could be a cyst or it may be a benign mass like a histiocytoma. I would just watch it and if it does not go away on it's own in about 4 weeks or if it gets significantly larger in that time frame then she should see your vet. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
