My senior dog sheds from mineral deficiency. What vitamins help?

Chloe has her share of health issues and so she isn’t eating consistently. She is shedding a LOT more than normal and in places she has never shedded before (tail, feet). Our vet believes it’s from a mineral deficiency from her inconsistent diet. She recommended any children’s vitamin, but most of the ones I can find are gummies or full of sugar. Any recommendations? She has Cushings, arthritis, off and on pancreatitis, and is in renal failure. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 14 years and 4 months old | 45 lbs
