My neutered cat is missing. If found deceased, can testicles reappear?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 2 years and 2 months old | 9 lbs

My cat went missing a few days ago. Someone just called me thinking they found him passed away. My cat was neutered but they lady told me this cat has testicles. Would my cats testicles come back after being passed? I'm just trying to tell if its mine.

Oh, goodness - how stressful for you! To answer your question, no - the testicles are physically removed during the neuter procedure, so they will never come back. If the deceased cat truly does have testicles in his scrotum (and not just swelling or other injuries in this area), then he's definitely not yours.
