Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 2 months and 23 days old
Hi wondering if you could give me some urgent help. I've just come through the front door in my block of flats and as I've opened the door quiet firmly its somehow caught the cat. She was really crying and now has gone quiet and I'm worried. Her eye has slowly changed colour since the event of me coming in. What is this. Do I need to go to the Vets immediately??

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Injury caused by slamming or opening door can be serious in cats. If your Dolly does not came back to herself within 45-60 minutes after the accident, you should take her to your nearest vets today. Changing colour of the eyes, I suspect is due to dilatation of the pupils, which is a sign of pain in cats.
