Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Blood in stools is never normal and she be always investigated and treated. It can be related to gastrointestinal infection, worms, low platelet count, anal gland problems, intoxication, mass or ulcer in the intestines and more. Please, take Kimbo to your vet today for full clinical examination and to start treatment as required.
