My dog was bitten by a mouse. Why does he have painful throat lumps?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 3 years and 3 months old | 10 lbs

My dog get bitten by a mouse near his mouth and he got some wounds like balls near his throat he is not able to eat anything when he tried to eat he feels pain and start banking. Please suggest

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. This is possibly an abscess that has formed as a result of the mouse bite. Please, take Jemmy to your local vets as soon as possible to lance/drain the abscess and start treatment with antibiotics.
