Pet's info: Bird | Parrot | Female
She seems to pluck her feather now and then. And I can see she plucks them mostly under her wings and there is a very small bald spot . She is just 4 months old so is it normal for her to pluck her feather? So what can I do to stop it?. What might be the reasons for it?

Thanks for reaching out about Sundar. Feather picking can be behavioral or medication. Check for external parasites such as mites or lice. Viral diseases such as Psittacine Beak & Feather Disease or Avian Polyomavirus, are also possible. Dietary deficiencies can lead to weak feathers that break or fall out easily. Birds typically have a bald spot under their wings, normally. This is typically a molding season, so some feather loss can be expected. Review diet, a veterinary visit is recommended to assess. Good luck.
