My guinea pig is quiet after getting a new friend. Should I worry?

I brought my guinea pig home almost a month ago, she was noisy and liked to wheek a lot. A week later I got her a friend, who was not noisy but is now the noisy one. I kept them separated for a week to be sure nothing was wrong with the new one before introducing them. They get along just fine, but my first GP who was really noisy is not anymore. For the past few days she barely makes noise and sounds very soft when she does. still eats all day, poops, runs, popcorns, etc. should I be concerned? Behaviorally, a change in hierarchy could explain the change.
