7-week kitten bites hands, sharp nails. When should she get shots?

Hello, I was given a kitten she’s just about 7 weeks; she does a lot of hand nibbling & her nails are really sharp. I do have a scratch post & command her by saying NO & tap her nose, but I would like her to be seen as well as when should she get shots, etc.?

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Kittens' nails are really sharp and they keep scratching everything in the house ! You can clip the sharp very tip of the nails in the front legs with nail clippers. Just be careful not to clip in the pink part. Ivy should have her de-worming medication now (if she hasn't had it yet) and then again in 2 weeks time. She also should have her first vaccination when is is about 8-9 weeks old. Her second vaccination will be given 3-4 weeks after the first one. She looks like a happy, sweet kitten !
