My dog just had her puppies last night and she is trembling like she’s cold and won’t stretch out so her puppies eat. Should I worry? she is very attentive to them whereas she wants them with her at all times and she cuddles with them. She hasn’t drank any water or ate. It’s been 7 hours since labor ended. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 2 months old | 10 lbs

Hello. Is this Khaleesi's first litter? She may just be inexperienced, & probably still a little uncomfortable from her labor. As long as she is very intent on carry for her babies, she may neglect herself for a day or so. When she gets hungry, she will leave her babies for a few minutes. Give her a little more time.
