My dog has a red, itchy bump. Why is he biting and licking it?

I found a red mark on my dog he kept on biting at it so I checked it out and I saw a spot and there’s a small bump under the red mark and a small one right beside it that you can see in the photos. I cut the hair around it to see it better. please help I’m so worried. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 7 years and 1 month old | 14 lbs

Hello. Is it possible that Charlie was bitten by something like a tick? This just looks like an acute inflammatory reaction. If you have some hydrocortisone cream, I would just rub a bit into the skin several times a day. If you do not have any cream, then please visit your Petco who will have several brands, including Zymox which is a very good product.
