My dog's paw holes enlarged after cleaning. What should I do?

My dog got 3 holes in his back paw and after washing it with warm water and applied hexamin cream and after 3 to 4 hr when I recheak it the holes were enlarged?? How this happened and what to do now ?? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 40 lbs

I would not be worried about it. Sometimes the wound will look worse before it gets better. It is good the holes are larger, it allows the infection to go out. You are doing a good job. Just keep treating it like you have been.
