My kitten is losing fur on its face. What's causing this hair loss?

I have a kitten that is about 10 weeks today. About last week he started losing his fur on his face and we did recently switch food but I don’t know what food he had previous as the foster parents had him. I’m worried about him and want to make sure he’s okay.

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Loki. Poor kitty. I don't know if the fur loss is connected to the food change, but it may be unrelated. It could be due to fleas, mites, or ringworm. I'd have him seen by a vet to have this diagnosed and treated. I hope this helps!
