Can I crush or dissolve my pet's Cerenia and Doxycycline pills?

Question

Can 16 mg Cerenia tablets be crushed and mixed with food? Or dissolved in water to put in a syringe? She also has to to take 1/4 of a 100mg Doxycycline antibiotic, can this be dissolved/crushed as well ? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 4 years and 11 months old | 10 lbs

Hello. Both the Cerenia & Doxycycline can be crushed & mixed with just about any food or liquid you like. The Doxycycline will be very bitter tasting if just mixed with water, so you might try hiding it in any type of food except dairy. Avoid any milk or cheese with this antibiotic.
