I had a stray small cat who had eye problem took care of her few days with out letting her near my dogs then someone adopted her. She’s gone now but my dogs went to sniff around where she was staying and i noticed my dog’s left eye have this central mild opacity it’s like there’s water beneath cornea. We have no vets where i’m staying and i can’t travel cuz of corona so should i use antibiotics drops or steroid or something? Pls help thanks

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It looks like a corneal ulcer, I suspect Rex was scratched by the kitten. Please, do not use steroids as they are contraindicated in corneal wounds. Antibiotics eye drops is a much better idea. Please, call one of your local vets that is open and get the advise on what antibiotics eye drops are available in your country.
