My dog's teats are injured from nursing puppies. What can I do?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 year old | 35 lbs

Hi my female dog just had a litter about a month ago and now as the pups get older they are growing teeth and I think the pups made her teats swole I put some cream on it for swelling to go down then it became to a blood clot put more cream she starter licking then it bust and left a whole in her test . What do I do?

She has a serious infection there, first of all separate her from the puppies completely, so they can't feed on her anymore. secondly you will need to contact your vet as she needs an antibiotic course to treat this nasty infection.
