Why is my pigeon's poop yellow after calcium supplement?

my pigeon laid an egg a week ago. now she is sitting on the egg. four days ago i started to give her calcium supplement( it was yellow in colour) -a tonic which has to be mixed with drinking water. after two days i have been noticing that her poop contains yellow colour water and little white colour. is this because of that tonic? what happened to her? please tell me.

Thanks for reaching out about your bird. Yellow droppings could be a result of the pigment in the calcium supplement, but is also a common clinical sign of possible liver disease. Stop giving the calcium supplement for a few days to see if the urine returns to a normal color. Good luck.
