My cat is limping and crying. When should I take her to the vet?

Hello! I am a first time pet owner and I just wondering when is it time to take my cat to the vet. Two weeks ago, mina was running and slide on her back paw. Right after the incident she started to limp and has been since. Shes been acting different like hiding a lot and cry’s when walking. Some days she’s fine but others she cries and doesn’t want to do anything. How long would it take for her to get back to normal and around when should I take her to get seen if she’s not getting better?

Poor girl. It sounds like she may have a serious injury there and could have dislocated her hip joint or tore her ligament. You really should take her to your vet now to get some x-rays done of her leg. Most cats with mild injuries won't show you that they are hurt, so if a cat is limping its usually pretty serious and should be looked at quickly. I do hope that your fur baby Mina is going ot be ok moving forward and I am so sorry that your first pet has injured herself in this way. Best of luck moving forward. Take care.
