Why aren't my corn snakes eating? Is it mating or their new lights?

I have 2 corn snakes male and female both a out 1 and a half years old neither seems to have an appetite lately and Ive never had a oroblem with them eating before could this be a mating thing I recently hanged there lights adding daylights to there heat lights the day lights go off at night the heat lights stay on I have never had a problem with them eating before and they both look great I also notice theu are both out alot more especially the male

Thanks for reaching out about the snakes. Breeding season can be an explanation for not eating, but these animals remain very active and alert. If lethargic, weak or quiet, a veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Being together, intestinal parasites would be a plausible explanation also.
