Why is my senior dog losing weight, drinking more, and has eye discharge?

My 13 year old rat terroir (Tinkerbell) has lost about 13 lbs. in the last 3 ton4 months. Over the last 2 months she has began to drink more water. For the last 2 days I have noticed a little bit of puss coming from her eye. She is eating ilike normal and is just as active as always. She does not seem to have any pain anywhere. Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Female | unspayed | 6 lbs

That is a significant weight loss in a short period of time and that coupled with the increase in drinking can be a sign of diabetes. You need to have her seen by a vet first thing in the morning for this issue. Best of luck.
