Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Bleeding from the bum can be caused by bacterial infection of the bowels or anal glands abscess. Both of these conditions need a vet attention and most likely a course of antibiotics. Please, take Simba to your regular vets to confirm the diagnosis and to get treatment for him. With current Covid-19 regulations, if required your vet may be able to offer a video-consult or prescribe a course of antibiotic over the phone.
