Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 4 years and 10 months old | 8 lbs
Hello Pet coach. I flea my cat once a month with spot on drops to the back of the neck, between the shoulder blades, but I've noticed some fur loss in that area and a scratch where she's scratched it. I've tried tablets, but she knows it's in her food. Is there anything else that I could try please?

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. You should try a different spot-on product. Local skin irritation and hair loss is the most common side effect of the spot-on medications but if you use a different one, it will hopefully not upset the skin. The other is a collar, for example Seresto.
