Aftr gvn the tab cefpodoxime can i gve deworming syrup to my pup or aftr hw many hrs i shld gve? Nd i dnt knw y they gve me thz tab i (took my pup near the vet) For the reason of thr is some greenish colour near his penis so he askd me to gve thz tab for 5dys but also thr is not result!! So plz hlp wt do!!!! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 3 months and 2 days old | 3 lbs

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. You can give de-worming medication about 1-2hrs after the antibiotic. From your description I assume that your puppy has prepuce infection and that's way he was prescribed the antibiotic. Prepuce infection is a common problem in puppies and a few days of antibiotics should sort the problem out.
