My cat is bleeding and might be miscarrying. When to go to ER vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Russian Blue | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 10 months old | 7 lbs

I have a 3yr old female short hair Russian blue cat, we didn't know she was pregnant at all, but it seems she is having a miscarriage, there's alittle bleeding not heavy or constant, her belly feels like there's only one small baby maybe 2inches in size, what should I be watching for in case we need to go to the 24hr vet

The bleeding is definitely not normal. I think you should take her to a vet tomorrow for sure. If she starts to act sick at all tonight - not eating, very lethargic, pushing like she is trying to give birth but nothing is coming out, etc then she needs to see a vet tonight.
