have a 1.5 yr old mini schnauzer. She goes to a horse farm with my daughter and runs free with the other dogs and follows my daughter/comes when she calls. However she walked down a long lane that is how I leave and it was very scary because she wouldn’t return and my daughter had to catch her. She’s kept her on a leash which isn’t fun for anyone. Today she tried letting her off leash and again she headed down the lane not returning when called. They used her bff blue heeler mix to pounce and h. Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Female | spayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 9 lbs

It sounds like your daughter needs to work on recall with Luna in other (less exciting) places before trying again at the horse farm. Sometimes dogs have difficulty ignoring distractions to follow a command. Once she’s consistently coming when called again you can practice at the horse farm.
