How to get my parakeet to leave its cage after a scary flight?

Hello!! Sorrye for distrubing you but i have a question i got my parakeet alomst 2 months ago and i could say ialready have a "realtiinship" with it but idk why she dosent want to leave her cage i tryed everything i even let it open i tryed lure her but she wont get out to streach her wings(she lets me tach her and is comporting normal) im scared cuz in her fisr day she got out and flew fore 3 hours scared in the romm even hit the walls... Ehat should i do??

Thanks for reaching out about Polie. Winning the trust of a bird requires time, to decrease stress. A book entitled "A Guide to a Well Behaved Parrot" is a good start. Trimming wings might decreased the flight potential when scared. Offering treats by hand can win trust. Good luck.
