My dog almost drowned, lost appetite, drinks a lot. Is he hurt?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 9 years and 8 months old | 100 lbs

I have a 9 yr old male about now 100lb. he has been somewhat overweight and happy, healthy all his life. in july his brother passed, in sept. he jumped in the river, the water was high current strong almost drowned, you could see he was scared by his eyes, I think he thought it was the lake. since then apatite diminishing and drinking way more water than usual. Im going to look at his teeth today, but is it possible he hurt his kneck area when pulled out of river. seems like whatever it is its e

I'm sorry but your question cut off at the end. I would be more worried that he got some water into his lungs. You really should have him examined by your vet. It is possible that he hurt his neck and/or back. If that is the case the vet should be able to find that on physical exam and can at the very least, prescribe some pain medication/anti-inflammatories for him to take. I highly doubt it has anything to do with his teeth.
