Puppy stomach bug recovery: Is her appetite still off after a week?

Hello, my 5 month old cocker puppy had a stomach bug from last Monday - with vomiting and diorhea / she stayed over night at the vet and came back Friday - she hasn’t had diorhea since Friday but will only eat boiled chicken and a little dry food ... is it normal for her appetite to still be funny after a week? How long does it usually take to recover? She has lots of energy and is sleeping and exercising well and is definitely interested in our food! Pet's info: Dog | Cocker Spaniel | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 17 days old | 22 lbs

Hi and thanks for your request. Considering the signs you described, it seems Mol is definitively improving. It may take a while for the appetite to go back to normal and a week seems very reasonable. I would recommend to switch gradually to normal diet, mixing the old food with the new one over a week time.
