Poor Sadie. Feed her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If she refuses to eat the bland diet, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.

Just adopted a 7 month puppy. She is vaccinated. She was fine the first two days but today she won't eat or drink and she started to throw up yellow foam. She did poop normal in the morning (9am) it is now 2pm. She also seems a bit lethargic. Wh
I'm sorry your new puppy is sick! I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Hi my 5 month old pup SHADOW vomits this evening. It was whitish in color. He was acting bit aggresively from then. What should we do. And what should we give him to eat tonight. Please help !!!
I would just give him a small dose of plain white boneless skinless chicken and white rice to help settle his tummy. If he is acting lethargic or continues to have vomiting or diarrhea, I would have a vet take a look at him. Small dogs like him can quickly get dehydrated. I hope this helps and he starts to feel better soon!

We noticed our puppy hasn’t pooped all day. He has thrown up twice. Not completely lethargic, but energy level is lower. Drinking water and urinating still. Just offered food and he didn’t want it. That’s the first time since we have owned him.

Hi,my german shepherd puppy 4months ,have diarrhea and vomited 2 times,right now he's very passively and sleepy. We're giving him some pedialyte. The diarrhea are liquid without blood. What can I do?
Diarrhea and throwing up can have many causes. It is basically a problem with the stomach and intestines caused by a food over sensitivity, eating something that does not agree with the dog, intestinal parasites, bacterial infection, viral infection, the weather, food change, stress, etc.  I would fast Sam for 12 hours and then put him on bland food for two days, such as boiled white rice and boiled white boneless chicken meat, fed in small quantities over several feeds and then transition back to his regular food slowly over a few days. If this does not clear up the diarrhea or if the vomiting increases, or if he gets lethargic, he needs to see a veterinarian for an exam as there may be something more serious such as an infection going on.

As these episodes are very commonly related to dietary indiscretion, I would recommend to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice diarrhoea, more vomiting, more severe lethargy or inappetence.
