It is unlikely that ingesting histamine in this manner can lead to a mast cell tumor. Mast cell tumors are clinically proven to be caused by mutation of normal cells into cancer cells. With that said however, I would not give yogurt that often b/c even too much of a good thing is still too much. Yogurt (about 1-2 tbsp) should be given once daily, if at all. There are more beneficial probiotics available to dogs, such as Fortiflora, Proviable, or over the counter Culturelle that I would recommend over yogurt b/c they are digested well and more bioavailable for pets. As far as the symptoms you have described, the licking and chewing immediately after eating is considered normal. If it happens all day though, then it is a sign of an underlying allergy, which should be checked out by your veterinarian. Best of luck with your pet Chhutki moving forward. Take care. : )
