My unspayed cat's vaginal area is red and swollen. Should I worry?

I noticed today that my cats vaginal area is red and swollen , she’s not acting different she’s not in pain or anything I just want to make sure it’s not anything I should be worried about. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 8 months and 14 days old

Hello. Although it is not usually noticeable, you do indicate that Oreo has not been spayed. I would suspect then she is in heat. If you could post a picture, that might help, but if she seems to be comfortable, not licking or excessively grooming the area, & you are not seeing any discharge, then just watch the area.
