I accidentally put flea/tick drops in my dog's ear. Is he safe?

My dog was shaking head a lot in middle of night. We have earmite solution. After putting solution in dogs ears I realized that I accidentally put a tube of flea and tick solution in his ears instead of the earmite meds. I am freaking out because I’m not sure if this will harm my dog. Will you please advise me if the dog will be ok or if I just poisoned or harmed him? I don’t have an emergency vet clinic near me to take him to. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 3 years and 9 months old | 70 lbs

Intoxication is possible even though if you put the right dose for his weight side effects should not be dangerous. I would recommend to wash the ear canal with water to get rid of the spot on solution as much as possible.
