What can I do for my dogs bad breath? I give him dentastix by pedigree once a week and the first couple of days he is fine but by the end of the week his breath stinks again

At his age, the bad breath could be an abscess or the normal shedding of his puppy teeth. Take a good look inside his mouth to check for any abnormalities. You may also consider having him examined by the veterinarian if you are not sure what you are seeing. Otherwise, I recommend to brush his teeth. This is one of the best ways to maintain dental health: https://www.petcoach.co/article/brushing-teeth-home-dental-care/ I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

This could be her normal puppy breath or it could smell bad from something else. If they are eating stuff they shouldn’t like poop or dirt outside, their breath will sometimes smell bad. There is a water additive you can add to her water to freshen her breath. You can also buy bones and mouth rinse or spray that help freshen breath. If it is REALLY bad, you may want your vet to take a peak at her mouth to make sure she doesn’t have a wound in her mouth or a bad tooth. I would stick with a high quality well known brand like Iams, science diet, or Royal canin puppy. All of these companies have done life long studies on their dog foods. I hope this helps!

It could also be something Guido is eating. Could he be eating his poop? That’s a common behavior in dogs, and it would lead to awful breath. Watch him outside, and if you notice he tries to eat his poop, you have your answer. Should he do this, pick up his poop right after he goes to prevent him from eating it. It can also be related to teething, and yes the smell will resolve when teething is complete and his adult teeth are in. I hope this helps!

He may have eaten something he should not have. make sure you check his teeth and on the roof of this mouth to make sure there is not a stick stuck somewhere that is causing an infection. If everything looks normal and he is eating well, it may be puppy breath. Puppies have a different odor and you either love it or hate it. If it is this, it will go away with time as he get larger.
