What causes a dog to itch his penis and have small raised spots?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 13 days old | 13 lbs

My dog keeps itching and he itches his penis. It has small Raised spots in the area maybe from irritation but i don’t know if they may be from something else. Please help

Those spots on Nike could be several things including allergies, skin mites, flea bites, ringworm (which humans can get) or a bacterial infection. Also, watch him very closely for increased frequency of urination. Sometimes licking the external genitals can signify a bladder infection. I recommend to have his urine checked for an infection to be safe. Until yo can get him into the veterinarian's office, you can try adding in an omega 3 fatty acid supplement for dogs, this can help improve the skin health. You can wash the lesions with soap once a day and rinse well (don't wash his whole body, just those spots and do not get soap inside his prepuce). Protect the areas from licking or scratching and he may need to wear an Elizabethan collar at all times. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.
