Hi,I have a little kitten who’s 5 months now.He wasn’t eating or doing his needs at the start. He got 3 injections from the vet, puked a hair tie and now he started eating, peeing and became more playful again. However,he still has back spams and twitches and when he does he aggressively skratches himself and licking his back and he still hasn’t pooped. The vet said they could get an x-ray but they can t guarantee anything will be fine.He seems to get better but I want to know if he won’t die :(

I hate to hear Hope is still not fully recovered. Unfortunately, you need to know if there are any hair ties or other objects in his abdomen. Unless there is metal in the hair tie, it will not show up on the x-ray but the vet will look for gas distention in the intestines. I recommend to have him x-rayed or even look into an abdominal ultrasound which is more exact. Unfortunately, nothing is every guaranteed in medicine. If there are more objects in his intestines, these could cause a real problem. I hope this helps and that Hope continues to improve. Please feel free to post any additional questions.
