Pregnant dog's milk is yellowish. Is it colostrum or something else?

The milk from my pregnant dog is yellowish and light, please what could be the cause and its remedy? Thanks

Thnk you for submitting your question regarding Kim. If she is pregnant and getting close to going into labor, her body will produce colostrum. This is a special milk for the puppies to consume immediately after birth. It will look different than normal milk. This could be what you are seeing. However, it is important for her to see a veterinarian to ensure there is not a problem. I hope this information helps!
