My turtle is shedding. Should I worry about its health without a vet?

I am just a lil concern about my turtle's health as there is no vet available nearby my home. Pet's info: Reptile | Turtle | Male | 1 year and 5 months old

Thanks for reaching out about Tadd and including photos. He appears to be in a a shed where they loose the outer layer of keratin. Check and correct water quality for pH, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. A review of the diet is important. Good luck.
