My dog is drooling puddles after bug spray. Should I be worried?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 11 months old | 60 lbs

My house was sprayed for bugs today and my dog was licking the couch. Now he is drooling alot. Like puddles. Idk what to do my vet doesn't seem to think it's a big deal but I'm a bit worried.

It sounds like Charlie is nauseous from this. Keep a close eye on him, and if you see muscle tremors, take him into a vet immediately. Feed him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If he refuses to eat the bland diet, the excessive drooling continues, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.

I’m sorry to hear that Charlie isn’t feeling well! Chronic vomiting is a cause for concern as it may be caused by toxin ingestion, kidney or liver disease, a foreign body, intestinal parasites, and even certain cancers. Charlie’s increased salivation is a very common sign of nausea. I recommend having her seen by a vet as soon as possible to determine what is going on. Your vet may perform some blood work and take x-rays to get an accurate diagnosis. I hope this helps and that all is well with Charlie!

My dog started drooling excessively is this bad?
Excessive drooling in dogs can be due to nausea, bloat, dental problems, poisonous plants, or heat stroke. Whether this is bad or not depends on the presence of other signs, such as vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, excessive panting, or behavior out of the ordinary. If Bugsy is simply excessively drooling, he could be feeling nauseous or may have a dental problem, but if there are other symptoms, then it is likely something more serious. If there are any of the symptoms I mentioned above or his behavior is different from the normal, I would take him into a vet now. If he's just drooling, I would monitor him. Should the drooling continue for hours or additional symptoms develop, I would take him into the vet.

My dog is drooling, making sounds like "smacking his gums" and a hiccup when he is swallowing.
Poor Buddy! It sounds like he may be nauseous. I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If he vomits in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. I am fostering a 10 yr old Male yellow Lab. We were in the country for the weekend. He has started drooling about an hour ago and just can't stop. Is there anything I can do for him???
Poor Ruger! He could be painful or nauseous. Try feeding him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts a couple of times a day. If this helps the drooling, feed him the bland diet for a couple of days, and then start adding back in his normal diet. Our four month old puppy vomited up everything he ate for dinner around 8pm. (We gave him a new food) He is drooling quite a bit since then should we be concerned? Is there anything that we should do for him?
Drooling can be a sign of nausea in dogs. You can with hold food and water for the night to let his stomach rest. In the morning, you can try a small amount of boiled chicken and rice as this is gentle on their GI tracts to see how he handles it and if he is interested. IF you notice persistent vomiting tonight, diarrhea (especially bloody), or lethargy, then I would get concerned and take him to an ER clinic tonight If he has no appetite tomorrow then I would get him checked also

My dog is excessively drooling. So much that he's leaving puddles everywhere and his lower jaw is soaked. He hasn't got into anything except some BBQ sauce and Styrofoam box our lunch came in.
This could be from his being nausea after eating what he wasn't suppose to. He could have eating something else that you didn't see him eat. Is there any way he could have gotten a hold of a frog/lizard even for a brief moment? These can cause excessive drooling. There are other toxins that can cause that as well. I would have your vet take a look at him as soon as possible just in case this was some type of weird toxin. If a toxin goes left untreated, it could progress and get worse and be much harder to treat. I hope this helps and hopefully it is just him being nauseous.

After coming back from a walk my Chunk got super drooly all of a sudden more than usual....he was still wanting to eat and drink and he pooped and peed on our walk. He seems to be acting normal otherwise but should i worry about the excessive drooli
Poor Chunk. Drooling is often a sign of nausea or stress. I would continue to watch him closely and make sure he does not become sick. I would limit his activity for the rest of the day and keep his meals small. If he starts vomiting you may want to have him seen by a veterinarian.
