The incision edges should be apposed (lined up). You may see some discharge, but it shouldn't be excessively bloody discharge. There may also still be some swelling and redness. Post a picture of Bo's incision so we can help you further.

I adopted a cat last week and brought him home 2 days post surgery( he was neutered and had a hernia repaired). He had internal sutures. He has worn his cone since coming home. I have noticed the incision is a little dark and dry looking in spots. T
You could try reposting your question with a picture, but from your description, I am not concerned about the healing incision. Common signs that there is something wrong is redness, heat, pain, oozing, or swelling. If these happen definitely get Smudge looked at by a vet.

My cat carrier as neutered 2 days ago and has a tissue buldge by the incision is this normal
Hello. This is not normal. Traditionally, the incisions over the acrotum are left open when a cat is neutered. Some of the scrotal tissue appears to be bulging out. This is not life threatening, but may delay healing time or possibly become infected. I would suggest that you have your cat rechecked by the veterinarian that performed the surgery. They may be able to manually reduce it or determine if it needs to be done under sedation. Thank you for using Boop by Petco

Yes, you can see some redness. It looks like Chandler's incision has opened a little bit, but not too much. Continue to restrict his activity and if it gets redder, there's swelling, and/or the incision opens all the way up, have him seen by a vet.

My cat got neutered about a week ago and i think he has an infection. i noticed some oozing earlier and I believe there is a foul order coming from him
Thank you for submitting your question. I would recommend that he sees his veterinarian to check his incision site. It is difficult to say without seeing a picture, but based on your description an infection is certainly possible. In addition to discharge, an infected incision site will be red, swollen and painful or hot to the touch. In the meantime, be sure to prevent him from the licking the area. Yesterday I took 3 cats to get spayed and neutered, I was look at the incisions today and both the males look very red and a bit swollen. The females stiches looks like they’re sucking inward. I’ve taken cats previously to get spayed and neutered and
The incisions do not appear to be infected in the images supplied. Confirm all three cats have e-collars (cones) in place to prevent licking. The cones should stay on for at least 10-14 days post op. Monitor for lethargy, loss of appetite, odor, excessive bruising, active bleeding or discharge.

can someone tell me if my cats incision looks okay? He was neutered yesterday the the piece of green thing is a piece of catnip that he has on his bed I already asked this question but wanted to mention they used glue to close him up
I don't see any signs of infection, and while it appears a little bit of the incision is open (maybe the glue didn't stick correctly), it's doesn't appear deep or big enough to be concerning. Continue to monitor him.

Hello! My dog got neutered five days ago and I am scared his stitches are now infected. the swelling went Down but now there’s a bit of puss in between the stitches... is that normal ?? Thank you for your help.
Hello and thank you for reaching out to Boop by Petco. The photo looks like there is a little crusted discharge around the incision, which is OK. As long as the swelling continues to stay down, and you don't see yellow, thick, purulent liquid coming from the incision site, he will likely be OK. Winston should absolutely be wearing an Elizabethan collar (cone collar) AT ALL TIMES until his sutures are removed. It is best to restrict his activity too so that he is not stretching or pulling at his stitches. I hope this is helpful!

Hello. While there is a little gaping at the top of the incision in your first picture, there is no swelling, redness or discharge to indicate infection. The sutures should probably stay in for a full 10-14 days, but otherwise everything looks great! Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
